The 34th-floor bar is perfect for breezy evenings, spectacular views of the city as the sun sets and heady cocktails, and music that goes from jazz to funk and house.

Gallops, Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai

Don’t go by the fact that Gallops is decades old. Its gorgeous alfresco dining area, which opened last year, is its best-kept secret.  Pretty fairy lights hanging from the trees, beautiful views of the racecourse and loungy sofas make it a perfect date destination and one of the most romantic restaurants.

Grasshopper, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore

Grasshopper is a restaurant you go to if you want to gift your date an elaborate seven-course dinner. Thalassa, Goa

A relaxed day or a week, spent dining at the beachfront Greek tavern in Vaddy, Siolim tops our list. The view of the river meets the ocean and famous sunsets, besides the delicious Greek food make it perfect in our books. The vibe is free and tranquil, and very Goa.

Riverside, The Leela Goa

Overlooking the gorgeous Sal River as it meets the Arabian Sea, this Italian restaurant is one of our favourite romantic settings in South Goa. The setting is dreamy and the food served by Chef Lenin Sreedharan is imaginative and innovative. The serene ambience will take over your senses, as you dine on the banks of the Sal River in a destination known for its beaches.

Sheesh Mahal, The Leela Palace, Udaipur

If you get a chance to dine at Sheesh Mahal, take the corner seat in that little enclave that sticks out over the lake, with nothing but the inky blue night sky and Lake Pichola in view. The spectacular views of the lake and the heritage city are an unforgettable experience. But before that, take a walk in their wine cellar and choose your wine for the night.

1135 AD, Jaipur

Dining at the rooftop restaurant within the majestic Amber Fort will make you feel like an imperial couple. 1135 AD derives its name from the year in which the Kachwaha clan founded the dynasty of the Rajputs. It has a breezy open-air courtyard, a formal dining room and a private dining space, Sheesh Mahal, which is beautifully crafted using silver and gold. Feast with your date by candlelight on tandoori quail, laal maas and Amber gosht, or the ornately plated Thaal–e–Jodha If you are a vegetarian. Finish the meal with the shahi tukda or rose ice cream.
