Steps to make iced pour-over coffee

  • In a glass/jug add 5-6 cubes (100gms) of ice. 
  • Place the Coffeeza Medium-Dark Roast pour-over coffee bag by anchoring it over the cup/jug. 
  • Pour 100-120ml of hot water into the bag in 3 intervals to get good decoction from the coffee grounds. 
  • You should get ice-brewed pour-over coffee of 200ml to 220ml, which can be used for the 2 mocktail recipes.

Spiced Apple Brew Spritzer

Apples, tonic water, cinnamon, and of course, 100% arabica coffee by coffeeza makes for the most unique mocktail you'll ever try!

Ingredients

  • 100 ml Coffeeza Medium-Dark pour-over coffee (which has been brewed over ice)
  • 100 ml tonic water
  • 50ml apple juice
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4-5 cubes of ice

Method

  • Pour apple juice in a glass, add cinnamon powder, and mix well.
  • Top the glass with ice cubes.
  • Fill 3/4th of the glass with tonic water and mix everything well together.
  • Add the ice-brewed pour-over coffee by pouring using the back of a spoon to create layers in the beverage.
  • Garnish using thinly sliced apple slices or a cinnamon stick.

Lemon Ginger Brew Tonic

Ingredients

  • 100 ml Coffeeza Medium-Dark pour-over coffee 
  • 50 ml tonic water 
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • ½ tsp grated ginger/ ginger powder
  • ½ tsp brown sugar
  • 3-4 cubes of ice

Method

  • Squeeze half a lemon into a glass, add sugar and grated ginger.
  • Muddle everything together or stir the mixture with 1 tablespoon of hot water to melt the sugar. In the case of grated ginger, strain the mixture into a second glass.
  • Add the ice-brewed pour-over coffee into the strained mixture.
  • Add ice cubes to the glass, followed by tonic water, and stir.
  • Finally, garnish with a lemon wedge.
