The recently signed agreement is to collectively add 779 keys to the Marriott International portfolio.
American hospitality giant Marriott International has recently announced its agreement with Prestige Group and DB Realty to launch two luxury hotels in New Delhi’s Aerocity. The New Delhi Marriott Marquis and The St. Regis Aerocity, New Delhi are set to debut in 2025, and the brands will collectively add 779 rooms to the prestigious portfolio of Marriott International.
“We are delighted to expand our collaboration with the Prestige Group to bring these two prominent brands to the national capital. This enables us to provide more choices and experiences in key markets to serve an ever-growing and discerning customer base. India continues to be a priority market for us. We believe our strong distribution, deep relationships, and the strength of our travel program, Marriott Bonvoy, makes us a leading partner for growth” said Rajeev Menon, President Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International.
Catering to the needs of the modern traveller, New Delhi Marriott Marquis is anticipated to feature 590 tastefully-designed rooms. Slated to offer a variety of local and international gourmet delicacies at its three dining outlets, the hotel will feature the stylish Marriott Hotels Greatroom lobby as well as the brand’s signature M Club Lounge, where Marriott Bonvoy Elite members can enjoy a range of complimentary food and beverage options all through the day.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic brand’s rich history, The St. Regis Aerocity, New Delhi is expected to feature 189 luxurious rooms and suites. With a blend of sophisticated design and traditional charm, the hotel is slated to feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a New York Deli, a tribute to the brand’s flagship hotel, The St. Regis New York. The Drawing Room and the signature St. Regis Bar along with the brand’s renowned dedicated butler service will together offer a highly bespoke experience to the guests.
Guests at both hotels can expect modern, multi-purpose events and meeting spaces suited to host weddings, socials, meetings and conventions. With an expected 85,000 sq. feet of meeting space in total, the two hotels are poised to create the ultimate destination within the sprawling Aerocity landscape.
Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director, Prestige Group, said, “We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with Marriott International to develop a St. Regis and India’s first Marriott Marquis and Convention Centre at Aerocity, New Delhi. We are excited to embark on this journey to provide our customers with unmatched luxury, state-of-the-art facilities, and a premium hospitality and conferencing experience.
