The haveli-style architecture of the eco-resort shelters spacious, resplendent rooms that offer views of the ancient Aravallis and the bucolic landscape of the Chandsen village. The windows are adorned with brightly coloured glass, similar in the style to Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal and Nahargarh Palace. The resort also showcases exquisite painting and carving techniques in its architecture, similar to those used in building majestic historic mansions that dot the region.

The elegance of the haveli and the serene atmosphere of the resort are an antithesis to quintessential city life. From the wide columned open terrace (Akash Ganga) you can see a brilliant night sky, a boon to star gazing enthusiasts. Telescopes are provided on request. Tent facilities for camping under the stars are also available, also on request.

The property has a baori (step well), crucial for water management in past centuries. The area around the step well is an ideal location for organizing yoga and meditation camps in which the resort’s experienced wellness professionals guide visitors.

Ancient baori yoga sessions
The ancient baori is an atmospheric venue for yoga sessions.

Spread over 10 acres, Signum Eco Dera Resort, as the name suggests, is in absolute harmony with the natural ecosystem. A nature lover’s delight, the luxury resort, on the edge of Jaipur, epitomises sustainable tourism with green practices such as rain water harvesting, solar power usage, organic farming including chef’s garden, as well as dairy farming. Small orchards on the property offer ready seasonal produce that are used in the resort’s kitchen, bringing alive the farm-to-fork experience for its guests. Another highlight is the onsite cow dairy that provides for fresh dairy products for consumption at the resort.

Guests can enjoy farm-to-table dining with organic produce at the multi-cuisine restaurant and an eclectic range of beverages at the Bar. The resort serves fresh, organic, delicious gourmet vegetarian food to suit every palate.

On the hotel launch, Mehul Sharma, Founder & CEO, Signum Hotels & Resorts said, “Though times are challenging, leisure travel will still be the first segment to bounce back as soon as the current pandemic surge subsides. We are hopeful the current situation will improve and business will be back on track soon.’
