The Westin Goa has opened its doors at the popular tourist spot of Anjuna in North Goa, about a 40-minute drive from Goa International Airport in Dabolim. The hotel features the brand’s signature programs—Sleep Well, Move Well, and Eat Well—which are centred around guests’ wellbeing. “The opening marks the 9th Westin property in India, indicative of the market’s appetite for the brand and its growing presence in key leisure and resort destinations across Asia Pacific,” says Neeraj Govil, Senior Vice President, Operations APEC, Marriott International.
The 171-key property features spacious guest rooms, suites and deluxe patio rooms that come with direct access to an outdoor pool. In keeping with The Westin’s Sleep Well programme, each room is equipped with the brand’s signature Heavenly® Bed, which promises a restorative sleep. Guests at The Westin Goa can choose from four dining experiences that focus on healthy meals that highlight local cuisine.
The all-day diner, The Market, offers a local and global menu and live food stations. Come evening, the poolside bar and restaurant, serenely christened Drift, is the perfect spot for sundown cocktails and nibbles. The lobby bar, Haven, offers tipples inspired by Goa. For a quick bite or pick-me-up before heading out to the beach, stop by Anjuna Coffee and Co, the hotel’s in-house deli and patisserie.
Among the wellness offerings at The Westin Goa is a well-equipped 24-hour fitness studio and the signature Westin Heavenly Spa where you can pamper yourself top to toe with massages, baths, body wraps, facials and exfoliation treatments. For those who prefer the outdoors, the concierge will set up a run along a 5km trail by Anjuna beach, an E-bike ride or a moonlight yoga session.
