Coca-Cola India will facilitate vaccinations, provide safety kits and create awareness about the pandemic across the country. Additionally, its bottling partners have also stepped in to provide relief.
As countries and entities around the world pitch in with relief efforts to help India deal with the second wave of Covid-19, one of the world’s most recognisable brands, Coca-Cola, has pledged a contribution of Rs 50 crore towards facilitating vaccinations, providing safety kits and creating awareness across the country.
The company aims to provide relief and positively impact over 10 lakh Indians through these efforts, and to complement its efforts, allied industries such as the company’s bottling partners have also arranged vaccinations, supported community kitchens, provided relief material and ambulance support, donated mobile Covid beds, ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
The global giant has also created a ‘Stop the Spread’ fund globally to provide support across geographies through distribution of vaccines, safety kits that include PPEs, masks, gloves and sanitisers, and spread of awareness regarding vaccines and hygiene practices.
