Bangkok’s lebua resorts & hotels’ fully serviced dine-in programme recreates a luxurious hotel-like experience right at home. Of course, it comes with an astronomical price tag.

With the pandemic clamping down on public movement and social gatherings, many in the hospitality and F&B industries have come up with unique and innovative at-home dine-in experiences. Perhaps one of the most exclusive and top-tier programmes has recently been unveiled by lebua hotels & resorts in Bangkok, Thailand.

Guests can opt for a wine-paired, seven-course meal from either of the hotel’s two Michelin-starred restaurants, Mezzaluna or Chef’s Table.


Its Hotel to Home programme is designed to recreate the luxury retreat experience of the property, right at the residences of patrons. Don’t confuse it with a simple delivery service, there’s a lot more on offer.

As part of the programme, a service team from the hotel, including sommeliers and mixologists, serve a Champagne aperitif, specially-selected drinks and a wine-paired seven-course gourmet meal for a minimum of five guests. The choice of spread can be made from any of the hotel’s four restaurants – Mezzaluna, Chef’s Table, Breeze and Sirocco – depending on the kind of fare the gathering demands. Bear in mind that both Mezzaluna and Chef’s Table are Michelin-starred facilities.

Also part of the experience is a trained florist, who will help set the mood with exotic flower arrangements, a four-hour babysitter service and even a hotel-style turndown.

It’s a one-of-a-kind luxurious gourmet dine-in experience with all the bells and whistles any guest would want. And all of it, with trained service personnel coordinating every step of the way. Naturally, this regal experience comes at a price and a steep one at that. For the minimum requirement of five diners, the Hotel to Home programme costs around Rs 4.5 lakh.

But then, can you put a price tag on indulgence?
