Dacia Godinho has all the skills to lead the team in times of crisis. She is both creative and analytical, and, more importantly, empathetic.

As the Commercial Director, DoubleTree by Hilton Goa – Panaji, Godinho’s job is to draw the right kind of business to the hotel. This she does by providing confidence and security to the people—particularly women— in her team.

In an interaction with TravelDine, she talks about how women can be role models and contribute to the success of a hotel brand.

“Women need to listen to other women. You need to give them a platform to perform,” she says.

A believer of lifelong learning, Godinho says that for women to succeed in their workplace, they need to love what they do.

“Be eager to learn. Let learning be a continuous process. There is a fair share of hard work you need to put in to thrive,” she says.
