There’s a whole new menu and nightlife experience beyond the doors of Vertex, The Liquid Restaurant. Adjacent to a fabulous rooftop pool, Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata’s latest is all about capturing Kolkata’s tireless spirit.
With spectacular views of the Newtown skyline and the picturesque Biswa Bangla Gate, ‘The Liquid Restaurant’ is the finest new address for enticing signature cocktails, eclectic global cuisine, high-energy music, alfresco seating and contemporary décor.
Vertex is also perched well above the major highway and is stashed away from the overcrowded mass. This provides patrons with a serene and peaceful ambience to unwind away from the daily humdrum.
The specially curated menu features an array of scrumptious delights to tantalize your taste buds. For starters (pun intended!) there’s the Jiang Chilli Cottage Cheese, which is a burnt ginger and chilli flavour Indian cottage cheese tossed with sesame and oyster sauce. The vegetarian offerings also include the Salt and Pepper Assorted Mushroom and the Spicy Oyster Hunan Tofu, each as scrumptious as the last.
On the non-vegetarian end of appetizers, there’s the succulent Five spice marinated tandoori chicken. If you’re in the mood for something a little more global, you could opt for the Chicken Satay, which are chicken skewers marinated with lemongrass, chilli paste, galangal and gondhoraj lemon grilled and served with peanut butter sauce.
As an ode to the flavourful Bengali cuisine, the main course showcases a variety of delicacies like Kosha Murgir Kofta, Smoked Murgir Jhol, Aloo Bhaja, and the Ghee Bhath, to name a few. The Indian Platter boasts a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights that include Paneer Butter Masala, Vegetable Jhalfriji, Vegetable Kofta in Saffron Gravy, Chicken Butter Masala, Dal Makhani, and many more irresistible offerings.
As the world continues to grow increasingly health conscious and opt for lighter meals, Vertex has that accounted for as well. Choose from an array of soup bowls comprising Caldillo De Congrio (a Chilean fish soup), or an Almond and Broccoli Soup, Antipasti and Sauerkraut. For the brunch gang, Vertex – The Liquid Restaurant has also reintroduced their ‘Thematic Sunday Brunch – Best of Vertex’ starting from the 7th November 2021. An on-demand Chef special menu is curated based on the favourite dishes of patrons visiting the restaurant.
The ambrosial brunch menu includes an exciting lineup of well-seasoned dishes like Prawn Toast, Spicy Oyster Hunan Tofu, Jiàng Chilli Cottage Cheese, Five Spice Marinated Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Galouti Sheermal, Buffalo Pizza, and a lot more.
