It’s gourd vibes only with Mag Street Cafe’s latest pumpkin oriented Thanksgiving menu, in collaboration with Ether Atelier and Nandan Coffee.
Winters are incomplete without the smell of pumpkin wafting in the air. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Mag Street Cafe’s out with some mouthwatering pumpkin inspired treats.
The Colaba based cafe has come together with the best in chocolate and coffee to create a fun, all pumpkin Thanksgiving menu for a limited time. So until December 1st, these cosy and delicious winter goodies are up for grabs at the cafe and online!
Working with Ether and Nandan Coffee, their new menu is designed and detailed to pumpkin perfection. Comprising intricate confections and a flavourful drink, it’s the perfect way to bring in Thanksgiving!
The holiday menu kicks off with a delicate Pumpkin Cruffin. It is one of Mag Street’s most popular baked goods created by Chef Krishna Singh. A bite into the cruffin reveals delicious pumpkin ganache and feuille, as created by Chef Prateek Bakhtiani of Ether. An extraordinary chocolatier, the chef is renowned for extensive research and development into his gourmet creations. Rest assured, you know you’re guaranteed deliciousness in every bite.
Next up is the Pecan Croissant, which is a wonderful combination of flaky and moist. The croissant is oozing with pecan cream, pecan syrup, and candied pecans with seasonal spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the beverage front, it’s Nandan Coffee’s Pumpkin Spice Latte that saves the day. While a PSL is not an uncommon term in coffee circles, this version hits different. Served hot or cold with spiced caramel and pumpkin spice, it’s the perfect drink to cozy up to. As organic food continues to be a dealbreaker for increasing consumers, this latte by Nandan Coffee doesn’t disappoint.
Mag Street Cafe has also dabbled in sustainable practices. While they don’t claim to be a hundred percent anything, their refusal to give takeaway cups has definitely caught eyes of those with any concern for the environment.
While some might say that it’s a lot of pumpkin, each treat brings out different aspects of the versatile ingredient. The unofficial ambassador of autumn, pumpkins make an appearance across a host of dishes from October to December.
Run by Gauri Devidayal and her partner Jay Yousuf, this lockdown project of theirs is now a coffee haunt, restaurant, bakery, and above-all, hangout spot for all. The cafe is known to serve up delicious croissants, Danishes, rolls, buns, and a lot more. However, with everyone bringing their A game this winter, they’re not to be left behind.
