K Hospitality Corp enters Africa with Domino’ Pizza

Fire Foods Africa, a 50-50 JV between K Hospitality Corp and Chanrai Summit Group, has signed on franchise rights for Domino’s Pizza in Ghana. Two stores have already opened up, with over 25 more expected in the next few years.

One of India’s largest hospitality and food services corporations, K Hospitality Corp, is all set to make its maiden venture into Africa. Known for reputed brands such as Copper Chimney, The Irish House, GVK Lounge and Bombay Brasserie, among others, the group has formed a 50-50 joint venture, Fire Foods Africa, with one of West Africa’s foremost supply chain conglomerates, Chanrai Summit Group, to sign up franchise rights for Domino’s Pizza in Ghana.

The first two stores have already been launched in downtown Accra in Osu and East Legon. Going forward, Fire Foods Africa expects to open up more than 25 stores and expand into other African countries as well. It’s all part of the K Hospitality Corp’s QSR 2030 Vision, which involves significant growth in the group’s QSR format activities.
