Arbab’s Bandra outlet has been upgraded and two new branches will open up by the end of the year.
Ever since it first opened its doors in 2019, Arbab, in Mumbai’s Bandra has occupied a unique position in the market. The fine-dining establishment serves authentic Lebanese food but in an ambience that is exquisitely French. The niche positioning ensured loyal patronage and now, Arbab Mumbai’s owners, Faiz and Fahad Kadawalla, are looking to open up two new outlets by the end of the year. That’s not all, the existing Bandra outlet has been expanded and a new French-style menu is on the cards.
Says founder Faiz Kadawalla, “We can’t be more delighted to be expanding especially in these trying times. Arbab has been very special and expanding has always been on the cards. Our culture, art, and technique have been loved by everyone and this is how I say shukran to all the customers who have loved the authenticity of our food and ambiance.”
Lebanese cuisine is one that has been influenced by a number of ancient civilisations, including the Romans, the Greek, the Egyptians and the Persians. Of course, recent trends have left their mark and contemporary Lebanese food is an amalgam of all these cultures.
