Cheesy Grilled Turkey Panini with Forest Berry Jam Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs panini bread
  • 20 gm softened butter
  • 400 gm sliced roasted turkey
  • 40 gm grainy Dijon mustard
  • 150 gm sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 100 gm arugula
  •  50 gm berry jam

Method

  • Generously butter one side of each slice of bread. Flip the bread over so the butter is facing down.
  • Top one slice of the bread with Dijon mustard and then add on sharp cheddar, turkey and arugula.
  • Spread cherry jam on the other side of the remaining slice of bread, then place on top of the other ingredients to make a sandwich.
  • Place a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Add the sandwich and grill until it gains a light-brown colour, then flip over and continue to grill until the cheese melts. This should take 2-4 minutes per side.
  • Cover the pan for a few minutes to melt the cheese faster.
