It is the festive season. For most of us, this means that it is the time to indulge in our favourite food. Albeit, with one caveat: The food needs to be vegetarian. With Diwali around the corner, and other on-going festivals, ‘fasting food’ and vegetarian fare rule the roost. So what’s a confirmed non vegetarian to do? Nothing too drastic, just switch to GoodDot’s plant-based alternatives for mutton, chicken, fish, egg, and other meats. GoodDot intends to make it easy for everyone by offering delicious and affordable plant-based alternatives so that everyone can enjoy their food without compromising on taste.

Brand for a cause

GoodDot, a pioneer in India’s plant-based meat industry, is working to take plant-based foods to a new level globally. Currently serving 100,000 meals per day through its various product lines which are 100 per cent vegan, GoodDot aims to make the world a better place by serving cruelty-free, affordable food.

Founded in September 2016 by Abhishek Sinha and Deepak Parihar, it has been ranked the #2 brand in India in the Ready to Cook & Eat category by LabelBlind under Right to Protein. It is also cited as one of the three global best practices to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals in a report by The Economist. GoodDot’s Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR), GoodDO, has been ranked the second Best Vegan Food Truck in the World and has also been awarded the Best Vegan Restaurant of the Year by Indian Restaurants Awards 2021.

Future of food, GoodDot style

The GoodDO QSR outlets are currently operational in Mumbai, Delhi, Udaipur, and Kathmandu. GoodDot has an ever-growing clientele, including renowned brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, Radisson, Sofitel, The Leela, Domino’s, etc. The company recently launched its national ad campaign that promotes the message of ‘Do Good’. The ad features GoodDot’s brand ambassador Neeraj Chopra and GoodDot’s mascot GoodDo, the goat (rescued from a slaughterhouse in 2017).

“Team GoodDot envisions revolutionizing the food system by offering consumers tasty, healthy and cruelty-free alternatives to animal meat. The GoodDot products are 100% plant-based but are a perfect alternative to animal meat in terms of taste and texture with high protein and zero cholesterol,” says Abhishek Sinha, Founder, GoodDot.

GoodDot has also launched a ‘Goodness Mission’ in 2019 through which people could voluntarily give up meat and join the movement. This initiative saw the participation of more than 5000 people who were also awarded a certificate of appreciation. The company has recently launched its products in Canada, Dubai, Nepal, South Africa, Mauritius, and Singapore and is planning to launch in the US and European markets soon. Select GoodDot products are available across 19 cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Noida, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Gurugram, and Indore. The products are also available online on Amazon and Swiggy.
