With this new Taj hotel in Chennai, IHCL gears up to foray into the branded residences space.
Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the country’s largest hospitality brand, has announced the signing of another Taj hotel in Chennai. With the addition of this new hotel, IHCL will have 13 hotels in the city, including three under various stages of development. The new development under management contract will feature branded residences as part of the hotel complex.
The proposed Taj complex will spread over 3.5 acres of land strategically located at Nelson Manickam Road and feature 235 luxury keys and 123 branded residences. There will be four restaurants and bars, and a selection of adaptable meeting spaces with outdoor areas ideal for hosting both business and social events. Guests will also be able to enjoy recreational facilities of a pool, fitness center, and spa. The branded residences will enjoy Taj’s dedicated service and access to the hotel’s facilities.
