The global cognac legend Hennessy is back with an exciting drop on BlockBar.com with 500 limited editions of its luxurious, golden decanters that carry the rare drops of Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition, plus an exclusive NFT designed by Veneda Carter. Sign us up!

There is no matching up to Hennessy when the conversation is about some of the rarest and most coveted cognacs in the world, also producing a major pour of cognacs in the global liquor arena. Upping their quotient of desirability yet again, Hennessy has launched Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition, which exclusively dropped on NFT marketplace BlockBar.com, touted as the world’s first direct-to-consumer NFT platform for spirits.
A golden rarity: Hennessy Paradis
In the first-of-its-kind batch, 500 luxurious, limited-edition Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition bottles of 70cl went up on BlockBar in September 2022. What caught the eye of the spirit connoisseurs was not just the transformation of the iconic cognac to a non-fungible token but also the gilded lustre that the bottle is bathed in.
These golden decanters are a collector’s gem that carry in it the gold-tinged Hennessy Paradis cognac, known to have been first crafted in 1979 by sixth-generation master blender Maurice Fillioux who was inspired by the purity of harmonious music. Imbued precisely with such graceful character and persistent finish, the golden edition cognac revivifies the maison’s use of the finest eaux-de-vie, which, when tasted first hints at the floral notes of dried rose, intense notes of red fruits and spices before dancings smoothly on the tongue and exploding with lingering, aromatic flavours.
Each of the collector’s gilded Hennessy Paradis decanters is paired with an exclusive NFT golden-hour inspired artwork by LA-based stylist Veneda Carter, who is adept in working with gold as a jewellery designer.
Following the first drop, a second drop is expected to go live in December 2022 showcasing 100 limited edition magnums (150 cl) of Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition.

Hennessy was founded by an Irish military officer, Richard Hennessy, all the way back in 1765, later brought under LVMH’s wing in the late 1980s. Leaping far and beyond the fact that the brand is now 257 years old, Hennessy has always been swift in setting benchmarks around global spirit trends, first foraying into the NFT world in early January this year with its non-fungible tokens of Hennessy 8 up on BlockBar designed by Arik Lévy.
