An MoFPI task force will resolve issues related to restrictions and prohibitions across the country, for food processing as well as allied industries.
Last year, GoI’s Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), had put together a task force to deal with disturbances in the food processing industry, stemming from the various restrictions and prohibitions. With the country in the throes of the second wave now, and various state governments imposing different restrictions, MoFPI has reopened its Covid grievance cell.
Given that there were several learnings from last time, officials are confident that this time around, it will be easier to navigate the various issues and allow food processing and related industries to continue business unhindered.
We would like to assure our commitment to all food processing and related industries. The dedicated grievance cell will provide necessary support to ensure successful continuity of business of the agri-food industry in India.
