Take a break from the incessant bustle and make space for lots of crisp croissants, gooey tiramisu, refreshing salads, desserts, and hearty meals at Fyole, the modern but laid-back cafe in Mumbai.

Stepping inside Fyole is like finding a delectable piece of puzzle from the streets of Europe in the heart of Mumbai. A convincing whiff of fresh bakes meets a synchronised display of tempting treats arranged inside a glass counter right across the entrance. But Fyole is not your typical, curb-side, casual-chic European café. It’s a rather capacious, more contemporary, and refined mood board of the potential that the ever-evolving gourmet food scene of the city fosters.
For the uninitiated, Fyole is a part of the bustling cluster of restaurants nestled inside the east wing of Phoenix Palladium mall in Lower Parel — think outposts like Eight, Dobaara, and Julius — each plating up distinct fare, cuisine, and varieties of its own. The only commonality among all four is that you’d likely want to navigate your way again here because of how conveniently the restaurants are tucked together on one level.
Coffee or Kombucha, Fyole cafe has it all

Decked with pastel-hued curvy furniture, high, warm-toned wooden arches and pillars that are cleverly integrated with pick-up cabinets inside, what Fyole does brilliantly is its assortment of patisseries and viennoiseries along with a choice of savoury dishes that are as enticing for a hearty breakfast with a cosy cup of coffee, or kombucha for the cautious ones, as they are for some light lunch or dinner.
What elevates this indulgence as you absorb the many nuances of the café while waiting for the food is their catchy playlist in the background that serenades you without a full stop.
Before taking a deep dive into the menu, here’s a sweet word of caution: Begin with a hot cup of mocha teamed with Fyole’s crisp and soft croissants that if I personally could, I would devour in one go. The offerings at Fyole are divided into a palate-pleasing spread of sinful pastries like dark chocolate pain au chocolat, croissants filled with almonds, espresso cream, and even baileys cream for the ones who like a touch of twist to their buttery, flaky bake.

Wrapped up in a Parisian makeover, the sandwiches on the menu at Fyole spell an artisanal joy with choices like roast pulled lamb ciabatta, the classic croque monsieur chicken, chargrilled paneer and peppers, tomato and mozzarella baguette amongst others.
For the eggetarians, a fun line-up of recipes like classic fluffy cheese omelette, Spanish omelette, egg muffin brioche, scrambled eggs and more promise a victorious brunch session, solo or with your date! We also tried the avocado tartare, a beautifully presented dish dictated by the subtle but delightful flavours of the green fruit, paired with mini bread crisps.
