Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts expands in Mexico with experiential tented resort in Punta Mita.

The fourth quarter of 2022 will see the opening of Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort, Punta Mita, Mexico. Nestled in the spectacular thickets of Riviera Nayarit, 15 luxury tents will offer guests a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean, its beaches and coves.

The butterfly-inspired guest tents will be perched on hillsides. Each tent will have a private pool, an expansive deck, and outdoor garden.

“The Naviva Resort will be an exceptional retreat for those seeking highly individualized service, curated wellness experiences and artful culinary offerings that reflect the culture and character of Mexico,” says Bart Carnahan, President, Global Business Development and Portfolio Management, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Guests at the tented accommodation will savour the rich history of the locale. There is evidence of prehistoric human settlement in Nayarit. On the Punta Mita peninsula, a hilltop archaeological site known as Careyeros Hill has been dated to c. 800 AD.

The property boasts sustainable elements including electric vehicles, solar panels, upcycled artwork and locally sourced produce.

Naviva will be located less than an hour’s drive from Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
