India’s new hyper-regional airline, Flybig is now offering direct connectivity between Guwahati-Lilabari and Guwahati-Agartala.

Commencing its operations under the government’s regional air flight connectivity scheme UDAN earlier this year, Flybig airlines are now operating direct flights between Guwahati and Lilabari every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at an all-inclusive fare of INR999.
The airline has also started direct flight service between Guwahati and Agartala, twice a day every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Addressing its latest announcements, Captain Sanjay Mandavia, CEO, flybig, said “We are the only airline that has its base in Guwahati. We are commencing operations from November 4, 2021, for Lilabari and Guwahati, and will soon be connecting the entire Northeast (India) at super affordable rates, helping boost tourism in the region.”
Focused on connecting tier-2 and tier-3 cities within India, flybig operates ATR72 aircraft, offering air commute services aligned with the underlying travel needs and preferences in emerging destinations across India. The new hyper-regional airline began operations in January 2021 and has also recently partnered with IRCTC Air portal to offer air ticket bookings in Northeast Indian states.
