Who doesn’t like a good sparkling wine? One that pleasures our palate, tingles on our tongue, and leads to bubbles of satisfaction… ProWine Mumbai 2022, a two-day annual international event jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf India at the Jio World Convention Centre on October 17–18, was a global platform for international and Indian wines, spirits, and craft brands.

The ProWine Mumbai 2022 experience also included Masterclasses ProWine, which saw 15 sessions over two days. The complimentary Masterclasses brought together the best of knowledge and a range of wines, gins, whisky, sake, and spirit tastings.
Kaushal Khairnar, Winemaker, Chandon India held forth on Chandon’s sparkling wines and the many aspects of enjoying a bottle of their finest. According to him, we are always so focused on the bubbles and visuals, that we forget about the sensation on the palate. As the bubbles interact with the nerves on our tongue, they lead to a sensation that’s pleasurable and one that we look forward to with each sip.
The Masterclass was a treasure trove of information about the right manner in which we can enjoy sparkling wine, right from the temperature to the colour. Another victory for ProWine Mumbai 2022!
