The festival will feature local, national, and international artistes such as Bloodywood, Taba Chake, Yung Raja, Karan Kanchan, HanuMankind, Trance Effect, Featherheads, DBryn, and Daminot, along with many others. Genres range from electronic music to melodies inspired by traditional Khasi tunes. Other than incredible music, the festival will also be big on a unique selection of indigenous food at the Food Pavilion.

The Forage Aisle will showcase local, indigenous forage and edibles, and will feature a culinary exchange between Chef Thomas Zacharias aka Chef TZac and local chefs. The Pig-Out Affair, a community cook-out serving pork dishes distinct from the local tradition and culture, will be symbolic of community celebration.

THF 2022 will also support a number of green initiatives. Everything from the backdrops to art installations are being built using eco-friendly materials like bamboo and recycled paper. These installations will feature mythical tales from the region to be able to educate visitors on the local lores and life. Recycling projects, RO water stations to discourage disposable bottles, biodegradable service ware, and a lot more will be made to ensure minimum wastage.

For the adventurer in you, The Hills Festival also has cycling tracks and camping spots. You can rent out a bicycle at the venue and go paddling around the beautiful Umiam Lake and Umbir village. Camp under the stars in tents that offer creature comforts and later, enjoy bonfires, karaoke, and fun games. And if you are visiting with children, the specially-created PlayCare section will ensure they have fun and are safe in the dedicated space.
