India Bike Week 2021 brings the thrill to Lonavala’s Aamby Valley City!

Biking enthusiasts in the country need no introduction to the extravagant India Bike Week (IBW). Offering two days of extraordinary biking adventures and fun, this year, India Bike Week 2021 The Special Edition has been organised in the picturesque Aamby Valley City of Lonavala, Maharashtra on December 4-5, 2021.

Adventure enthusiasts can expect a wide variety of thrilling and fun-filled events ranging from motor displays to fresh launches and great entertainment. Take a history lesson or two in steel and chrome with the Vintage & Classic Bike Display. For the first time ever at IBW, illustrious British marques will rub their handlebars with iconic Japanese two-strokes and classics from yesteryears! Let the Mod Bike Display, on the other hand, show you how customisation and bespoke engineering know no bounds today.

Be among the firsts in the country to get a glimpse of some of the freshest launches of the season, including Harley-Davidson’s Sportster S, two BigWing models of Honda, Kawasaki – with its Z650RS, and more. Get your hands on an extensive array of the finest gear and accessory by brands like Rynox, Senna, Dirtsack, Autologue, and BMC Air filters at EVO Biker’s Mart boasting 60 stalls.

Move on to the Collector’s Corner to see the exceptional collections of biking enthusiasts who have been seriously bitten by the motorcycle bug (think rare cruisers, jaw-dropping off-road bikes, and more). Next, watch some of India’s best up and coming stunt masters attempt to defy physics with their motorcycles at the action-packed Stunt Show. Those looking for some time to unwind can kick back at the Film Festival indoors where four fantastic biking films are scheduled to be screened. At Big Trip Virtual – Powered by Petronas Sprinta, two intrepid travellers, Sandra and Fiona, who are currently riding their adventure bikes across the world, have recorded an insightful video on their sojourns. World-renowned custom motorcycle builder Maxwell Hazan, also speaks to us in a video shot exclusively for India Bike Week 2021.

Attend curated interactions at Big Trip Sit Down Sessions – Powered by Petronas Sprinta and watch The High Road a film about riding the first Harley-Davidsons at an altitude of 18,603 feet in the Himalayas! Up for some good laughs? Take your seat at the Howling Dog Bar where auto journo and funnyman Tushar Burman will let the crowd in on the quirks of the Indian biker.

The Moto-Art Collective – Powered by Axor will have picture displays by ace photographer Ishaan Bhataiya, Pushkar Patil from Broken Asphalt, Veeraj Patil from VP Designs, and more. Arriving here with your bikers’ club? Relax at the Jameson Lounge where a series of exclusive events and competitions await you, including the King and Queen of Clubs, a Moto-fashion competition, foosball fight, and what not! Not to forget the Main Stage where the likes of MIDIval Punditz, DJ Ishani and DJ Gurbax will be entertaining the crowd with their enchanting music, while the party will continue around the Red Bull event car, which will host the After Hours session with DJ Sam. Famous bikers’ cafe Throttle Shottle is setting shop out of a van at Café Vibe.

Keeping the COVID-19 protocols in mind, entry into India Bike Week 2021 – The Special Edition will only be given to the completely vaccinated visitors, or the ones who have had at least one jab and can produce a negative RT-PCR test report no older than 48 hours. Masks are mandatory inside the premises at all times. Martin da Costa, Co-Festival Director IBW,  said, “It’s just such a relief to get back on our bikes to ride down to IBW.
