Sometimes, when one’s absolute love for desserts meets an absolute passion for fitness, sweet little something like a guilt-free brand of desserts transpires. For Ankeeta Chawla, founder of her passion project Eat-A-Whey, it was a similar motivation to make the two pole-apart concepts—as generally assumed—work. Now with a growing following on and off Instagram, Eat-A-Whey is dishing out indulgent bakes that are gluten-free, keto, vegan, paleo and protein-rich, delivering across cities in India. They also customise the desserts according to one’s dietary needs, so it is in all ways, a win win!

  • Must-have: Nutella sea salt cookies (ask for vegan option), vegan blueberry lemon teacake, vegan double chocolate brownies and Chocolate Prookies.

This home baker duo uses local ingredients to craft their delightful treats, be it the dark chocolate and orange cookies, berry-licious rich dark chocolate ganache tart and more.

Lucky for us, Christmas has come just in time at Bakeology. Their baking kitchen dishes out desserts that are not only gluten-free but also free of preservatives, butter, refined sugar and eggs. Their varieties can be made with and without rum base, and all that we’re craving for right now is the classic Christmas plum cake sweetened with jaggery, date and walnut cake and even mildly-spiced sourdough plum bread laden with nuts and fruits.

For plant-based options, don’t forget to ask for vegan customisation for the cakes. For the holiday-special menu, Bakeology is taking orders until December 20 and what’s more fun is that they conduct workshops too on how to bake a gluten-free plum cake, rum cake, and chocolate and plum cookies.
