From March 25 to April 17, the Dubai Food Festival 2021 will showcase the city’s rich culinary landscape through unique restaurant experiences, guided food tours, masterclasses, staycations, and a whole lot more.
One of the world’s largest hubs of business, Dubai is a melting pot of cultures, with people from all over the globe living and working here. This remarkably varied cross section of society makes for several interesting developments. One of them, is Dubai’s rich culinary landscape. The Dubai Food Festival, now in its eighth year, is set to kick off from March 25th and until April 17th, will showcase the city’s bustling food scene.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DRFE), this year’s Dubai Food Festival will focus on authentic homegrown foods along with the city’s diverse cuisine offerings and unique experiences.
The Dubai Restaurant Week, from March 25 – April 10, will showcase two- and three-course menus at some of the most popular eateries in the city. Foodie Experiences will offer masterclasses with renowned chefs, experiential tours, cooking workshops as well as exclusive tasting menus. Hidden Gems will reveal neighbourhood-favourite foodie spots and provide invaluable insight into local cuisine as well. There will be experiences aplenty, ones you can lose yourself in and others, where you can take along the whole family.
And of course, there will be lucky draws. Participants will get the chance to win a host of goodies, ranging from Zomato Pro memberships and a year’s worth of groceries to brand new cars.
The festival, being the biggest celebration of food in Dubai, is also the perfect time for restaurateurs to open up new establishments. While some have already started serving, there are other exciting ones coming up.
From the Bla Bla Beach Club with its lounges, cabanas and specialty gourmet restaurants spread across 100,000 sq. ft and Zeta Seventy Seven on the 77th floor of the Address Beach Resort with an unbelievable view of the city to unique and globally acclaimed concepts such as the Time Out Market Dubai which brings together 17 eateries alongside art and culture spaces.
All events and experiences of the Dubai Food Festival 2021 will be held in accordance to health and safety guidelines as prescribed by the Dubai government.
