The hotel, the ninth DoubleTree by Hilton in India, already enjoys a central location close to the Baani Square shopping and dining out district, and steps away from Good Earth City Center. Just 10 minutes away from Gurgaon’s central business district, with Infocity, Unitech Cyber Park, DLF Cyber Hub and other prime corporates within easy reach, it’s also close to National Highway 8, which makes it accessible to Udyog Vihar and IMT Manesar and leading medical facilities such as Medanta, Medicity, Artemis and Fortis.

To be revealed in its new avatar, the structure underwent a series of renovations and upgrades, including a reconfiguration of the lobby to provide more spaciousness and seamless access to the café and all-day dining restaurant Glasshouse, which has been upgraded with new flooring and ambient lighting. Vibe: The Sky bar, known for its iconic panoramic views and fashionable edge, now offers handcrafted cocktails to be enjoyed alongside international bar bites with a local twist, such as Blue Cheese Malai Tikka, Boti Sliders and more. The 201 guest rooms now feature 55-inch SMART TV and updated contemporary design touches in line with the DoubleTree brand. “While we have achieved a great new look, our values and beliefs have not changed. Our commitment to service and a culture of care is what sets DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square apart. Our guests can enjoy a memorable experience with DoubleTree’s celebrated approach to hospitality, starting with the brand’s signature, warm DoubleTree cookie,”, says Jai Chugh, General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square.

The bigger picture is rosy too

The leading global hospitality company has a portfolio of 18 world-class brands (including DoubleTree by Hilton) comprising more than 6,500 properties and more than one million rooms, in 119 countries and territories. Dedicated to fulfilling its founding vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, Hilton has welcomed more than three billion guests in its more than 100-year history, earned a top spot on the 2020 World’s Best Workplaces list, and was named the 2020 Global Industry Leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.

Incidentally, Hilton has retained its top spot amongst the world’s most valuable hotel brands, despite recording a 30 per cent drop in brand value to US$7.6 billion. Hilton also boasts the most valuable hotel portfolio, with its seven brands that feature in the ranking reaching a total brand value of US$13.8 billion.

Did you know that when you bite into that warm welcome DoubleTree cookie, you’re biting into history!

  • Approximately 65,000 each day, or more than 25,000,000 a year and 250 million+ warm welcomes overall.
  • The practice started in the 1980s, when many of their hotels across the US used cookies as VIP treats.
  • A secret recipe was developed in 1986 so every hotel could offer the same sweet treat.
  • A select group of bakeries around the world hold the secret recipe to ensure every guest gets the same, delicious cookie at every DoubleTree by Hilton hotel and resort.
  • Every cookie is baked fresh daily at each hotel.
  • Each cookie has an average of 20 chocolate chips.
  • More than 1,250,000 chocolate chip cookies have been donated to members of the community from doctors and nurses to police and firefighters, as well as non-profit groups such as food banks and homeless shelters.
